About Us
At Fostering Hope, we are dedicated to enriching the lives of children, teens, and young adults in foster care and residential treatment across Northeast Ohio.
Founded to raise awareness about the unique challenges faced by children in the foster care system, our mission goes beyond advocacy. We create experiences and programs that uplift spirits, inspire hope, and spark joy in young lives.
Fostering Hope serves children from birth to age 18 who are navigating the challenges of the foster care system or living in residential treatment homes. These young people often experience significant upheaval, including removal from their homes due to abuse, neglect, or safety concerns. Many arrive in care with few, if any, personal belongings, amplifying feelings of instability and worthlessness.
Our programs are designed to address the needs of children in these critical stages, including those in group homes requiring 24-hour supervision and infants and toddlers needing extra care during key developmental years. Through trauma-informed programming and essential resources, Fostering Hope provides emotional, social, and practical support to help these children find stability, rebuild their confidence, and foster resilience during some of the most challenging times in their lives.
